Cheese Truffles
This was supposed to be on the Easter table, remembered about it the next day, it was great since the aromas had a chance to mix. I think it’s a pretty appetizer, being so easy to make puts it on my regular list.
Basically it’s a mix of cheeses with a softer texture. I’m not sure one of the main ingredient I use, a sheep cheese it’s available everywhere. The other one I used it’s feta,so use anything that can make a mixture easy to work with and form the balls.
Form the balls and roll them in different spices. I used dried dill,wild thyme,granulated garlic,roasted garlic powder,ras-el-hannouth,zaatar and thinly sliced green olives with red pepper.
Poppy seeds,black sesame seeds,paprika are also good and I’m sure you’ll come up with others as well.
