    Olivier Salad

    I came accross this salad in Iran, but it’s very similar to the Romanian salad boeuf and I think both have their origins in the Russian Olivier salad. Sounds complicated? It’s not, think of the American potato salad and add a few more ingredients.     Christmas Appetizer Rudolph

    Rudolph the red nosed reindeer It’s never too early to get ready for Christmas…it’s my favorite holiday,especially since having kids,it’s priceless seeing those little happy faces. Got this great idea from Cute Food for Kids, many great ideas and Xmas recommandation. Have fun preparing these little guys! You’ll need a cheese wedge,one olive,two pretzels and a little piece of tomato or red pepper to assambly the reindeer.

    Cheese Truffles

    This was supposed to be on the Easter table, remembered about it the next day,  it was great since the aromas had a chance to mix.  I think it’s a pretty appetizer, being so easy to make puts it on my regular list. Basically it’s a mix of cheeses with a softer texture. I’m not sure one of the main ingredient I use, a sheep cheese it’s available everywhere. The other one I used it’s feta,so use anything that can make a mixture easy to work with and form the balls. Form the balls and roll them in different spices.     Even my picky one enjoyed this savory loaf with feta. Ingredients Savory Loaf with feta 200 gr flour (about 1 1/2 cup) 3 eggs 150 gr green olives, seedless 150 gr feta cheese,crumbled 5 Tablespoons oil 100 ml milk 3 teaspoon baking powder salt,pepper How to make Savory loaf with feta recipe Preheat the oven. Add in a bowl flour and baking powder. Put in the middle the eggs,oil ,warm milk,salt and pepper. Mix well and add the sliced olives and the crumbled feta.
