I’m not sure this is the real recipe,I’ve adapted it from a bread recipe, but it worked out fine, just like the bagels I remembered.
Serve with cream cheese or plain.
Bagels Ingredients:
3 1/2 cup flour
25 gr fresh yeast
1 t salt
1 1/4 cup warm water
How to make Bagels
Mix 1/4 cup warm water with the yeast and set aside for five minutes. Add the mixture to the flour,add the rest of the water and knead a dough. Add the salt too.
Set aside until it doubles in size. Split in 8 pieces,roll each one out and stick together the ends.
Meanwhile,put a big pot of water to boil and add several spoons of baking soda. Preheat the oven.
When the water starts to boil,add the bagels,one by one and leave in the water for 30 seconds or until they came out to the top.
Place in the baking tray and sprinkle with sea salt,seeds or roasted garlic or onion bits. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes,the last five minutes leave the oven door a little bit open so the bagels have a nice color.

Ia te uita! 🙂 „Anvelopele” acestea delicioase le planuiam si eu pe maine dar m-a lovit nevoia de mirodenii aromate si am „virat” spre niste biscuiti fursecosi. Parca si simt mirosul covrigeilor tai 🙂 Arata foarte bine!

Arata bine!chiar azi am gasit la un magazin polonez covrigi pe sfoara:)of course ca m-am aprovizionat!Acu musai sa-i prepar in casa :).O zi faina!
