Gingerbread Recipe

Ingredients for Gingerbread

400 gr flour
50 gr unt, at room temperature
2 eggs
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 t ginger, powdered
1 t fresh ginger, grated
1/4 t nutmeg
1 t cinnamon
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt

How to make Gingerbread

In a bowl mix the dry ingredients.
In another bowl, mix butter and sugar, add honey and eggs. Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and make a dough of the consistency of playdough.
Put in the refrigerator for an hour. Dust the working surface with flour and roll out the dough.
Cut with cookie cutters and bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes,depending on how thick the dough was rolled. Let cool on a rack .

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like
    you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home
    a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog. An excellent read.
