Chinese Buns
Found this recipe in the bread bible and since I really have to go to bed,I’ll just be very short. You need to make a dough out of 140 ml milk,1 t instant yeast and 1/2 t sugar. But you won’t be able to do it without adding 250 gr of flour,1/2 t salt and 1 T butter. Set aside and let double in size.
Meanwhile,marinade 250 gr cubes of chicken breast with 2 T soy sauce,2 cm grated ginger,1 T oil,1 T honey for 30 minutes. Fry the chicken pieces in a wok with 1 T oil for 5 minutes and add 3 sliced scallions.
Make 8 rounds from the dough and add the filling. Fold together,close the bun and place in the baking tray with the closez side down. Let sit aside for 30 minutes,covered with a wet towel. Sprinkle sesame seeds and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot or cold!

  1. Ce coincidenta…chiar aseara am facut ceva asemanator,dar in loc de piept de pui am pus „panceta„ hame -made si in plus am pus frunze de leurda …..si am facut 4 minunatii ! pup!

  2. imi e rau, asa de bine arata! am incerct monkey bread … am mancat scoasa direct din cuptor! sotului meu ii place aroma la maxim! am pus muuulta scortisoara! nu am apucat sa fac poze, caci am facut painea pe la 10 noaptea, deci nema lumina!

    1. ma pui pe treaba,ca maine iar o sa fac monkey bread de pofta:)) Cred ca am si ramas fara scortisoara la cata folosesc in ultima vreme.De cate ori n-am patit-o ei eu cu pozele,dar lasa ca de acuma s-a lungit ziua.
