Cake with coffee cream
Ingredients cake with coffee cream
6 T sugar
100 ml oil (1/2 cup)
6 T flour
1/2 package baking powder (about one and half teaspoon)
2 T cocoa powder
For the cream:
2 package whipped cream pudding (use vanilla if not available)
500 ml milk
250 gr margarine
1 T cocoa powder
1 T Starbucks esspreso coffee
250 gr icing sugar
How to prepare
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar,gradually add the oil. Add the flour.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add to the egg yolks,mixing slowly,so it keeps its volume.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.Remove and cool.
Meanwhile,make the pudding according to instructions. Set aside and when cooled add the margarine and sugar and mix well until creamy. Split in two,one mix with cocoa and the other with the Starbucks coffee.
Cut twice the cake and fill with each cream. For the top,melt some chocolate in the microwave and add one tablespoon oil. Pour onto the cake and decorate. I used decorations made out of melted sugar.
